In this week’s episode we are taking care of our furry friends. All organic pet treats for the pupper or cat in your life. Our pup, Arlo, chose this weeks musical pairing, George Clinton, “Atomic Dog”. Join us on Tuesday with your best buddy and surprise them with fresh baked yumminess!

Ingredients
¾ cup Coconut flour
2 tbs Coconut oil - melted
1 sweet potato ( you will use ½ cup of mashed sweet potato for recipe)
1 banana
2 tbs flax meal
* As with any pet treat or food make sure to check with your vet to confirm these ingredients are ok for your fur baby.
** I recommend using all organic products for these treats.
Preheat oven to 400. Poke holes into sweet potato and bake in the oven until soft.
Mix the flax meal with 4 tablespoons of water in a small bowl and set aside. Allow the mixture to thicken for a few minutes.
Remove sweet potato from skin and mash. Measure out ½ cup. Peel and mash your banana.
Add coconut flour, banana, sweet potato and melted coconut oil to a mixing bowl. Add in your flax meal mixture and stir in all ingredients until mixed.
Add some flour on your counter and knead the dough by hand until mixed in completely. Roll out the dough as you would sugar cookies and cut out using your pet’s favorite shape!
Bake at 350 for around 15 minutes until golden brown.
